| I've been in interested in old cars and hot rods ever
since I was about 9 years old. I bought my first car, a 1940 Ford Coupe when I was 12, in
hopes of getting the hemi with 6 Strombergs installed and running by the time I reached
driving age. I ended up driving a 1955 Chevrolet instead, which I still have. I became
interested in bending tin in the late 1960s when my partner and I built a Chevelle funny
car. Our only tin bending equipment was two boards in a vice and a rubber hammers. I've
been hooked ever since. The aluminum work on Bobby Langley's Scorpion dragster has
inspired me for years |
